“Barter Trade” was the most primitive trade model in ancient times when people enjoyed the full equivalent exchange for whatever they wanted for their own benefit and convenience. However, today, we are abundantly flooded with Warehouse Supermarkets, One-stop shopping and E-business, so this face-to-face trade seems particularly rare and valuable. At noon of October 31, 2013, The Third Branch of Zhaolin Hongze Property Management Co., Ltd., had its first “Barter Trade” activity, which won the warm cheers and applauses from the clients of Zhaolin Plaza Block B.

With a view to ensuring the smooth convening of this activity, The third branch company prepared abundant gifts and awards to the clients with great care. At 12:30 p.m., the activity got started and clients displayed their self-prepared articles or goods, mainly including the daily necessities, leisure goods, say, auto hand-warmers, ANDROID LED desk lamps, E-Book Readers, DIY glasses, GUCCI sunglasses and earphones, etc.

Although the most expensive thing charges less than 1,000 Yuan, yet people show great enthusiasm for the barter trade. After having their goods hurriedly arranged in good order, they began to “drop around” and sought after their own favorite goods from the stands of others. It was not long before different transactions were reached among them: some bartered their glasses for ties; others bartered their earphones for e-books or toys for desk lamps…. The people who seldom greeted each other in their daily life now got familiar with each other in “bargaining over the price”. Some new moms with interest in toys got together for a discussion over how to nurse and bring up their babies; some electronics fans gathered together to chat about the new gadgets in the market. In half an hour, more than 40 articles were bartered. Most of the clients got what they wanted and also made some new friends. To their great surprise, the working staff put the lucky draw box on the desk so that the traders could try their luck when the activity almost came to a close.. The lucky guys were fortunate enough in getting the humidifiers, Ironing machines ,Folding bikes and those who failed to draw anything still felt warm to be given a free hand warmer.

After the activity, clients put forward their ideas about building a barter trade platform and expressed their strong expectation for the next exchange activity. The property company also said that they were planning the new barter trade activity in hopes of further expanding its scale and impact.
